This policy explains what data jonielgallo.com (“the site”) collects and why. The site is run by Joniel Gallo.
What the site collects
- Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics 4 (through Google Site Kit) to understand which pages are read and how visitors find them. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects data such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser. IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4.
- Server and CDN logs. The hosting provider (Hostinger) and its CDN keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser and requested URL, for security and performance.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, your email address is stored by the newsletter provider and used only to send the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from any email.
- Embedded content. Some articles embed content from other sites (for example YouTube, GitHub or asciinema). Those sites may collect data as if you visited them directly.
The site has no comments and no user accounts for visitors, and it does not sell personal data.
Affiliate links
Some articles contain affiliate links. When you click one, the partner site may set its own cookies to attribute a purchase. See the disclosure page.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU or the LGPD in Brazil), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to object to its processing. To exercise these rights, use the contact page.

This policy may change as the site adds new features, such as advertising. The date at the top shows the latest version.
